There are two prominent names who complete the team at the TV station Eurosport for the Australian Open - Andrea Petkovic and Kevin Krawietz, as the TV station announced, Petkovic is on the second round days and for the women's final in action. Krawietz acts as a co-commentator on selected days.

Double specialist Krawietz will not take part in the first Grand Slam tournament of the year because his first child is about to be born. Born in Franconia, he has been married to his long-term partner Judith, with whom he lives in Munich, since September.

The official Grand Slam premiere of Krawietz with his new doubles partner Tim Pütz will be postponed for the time being. During Andreas Mies' injury last year, Mies and Pütz had already served together in all four Grand Slams - with the quarter-finals in Wimbledon as the best result.

In autumn 2022, Krawietz announced that he had separated from his long-term successful partner Andreas Mies. Both won the French Open in Paris twice together. Mies is now starting with the Australian John Peers – also at the Australian Open.

For Andrea Petkovic, the trip to TV is almost normal. During her active career, the Darmstadt native celebrated her premiere as a presenter on the ZDF sports reportage. Since December 2019, the 2014 French Open semi-finalist has been part of the ZDF team of sports presenters. Petkovic ended her career at the US Open last year.

Last week it was also announced that Boris Becker is returning to the Eurosport team. After his deportation from England, the three-time Wimbledon winner will accompany the matches Down Under from Munich and will also present his program “Matchball Becker” again.
