When Roger Federer enters the world's tennis courts, one thing is certain: he owns the love and affection of the audience. Almost all over the world, the hearts of the Swiss are flying, the Maestro is still the ticket seller par excellence and the name "Roger Federer" is known to every sports fan.

But why is that? On the one hand, of course, because of the countless successes that make the Confederation a 20-time Grand Slam champion, a 102-time tournament winner and the longest number one of all time (310 weeks). But Roger Federer is much more than just an exceptionally good tennis player.

Federer is a role model for young and old - both on and off the pitch. Rarely or never have you seen the third in the world rankings out of control on the court, Federer is always calm himself and inspires the masses with his perfect technique and his still irrepressible will to win.

Roger Federer - perfect role model

It is well known that Federer was not always the perfect role model. But the Swiss has developed into an ideal idol for future generations and embodies tennis like no other - elegant, light-footed, light as a feather: all of these adjectives are associated with Roger Federer.

Federer also seems to be practically angelic outside of the square. With his wife Mirka, the now 38-year-old has four children; family problems seem to be a foreign word in the Federer family. The Confederate lives and plays for his family, as is evident in almost every interview.

"If the little ones are not doing well on the tour or I notice they are unhappy, or if Mirka would no longer fit their own situation or that of the children, that would be a reason to stop," emphasizes Federer. So far there have been no complaints from the family - and the entire tennis world hopes that this will remain so for some time to come!
