The former Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki failed in her tennis comeback after more than a year of abstinence in the round of 16. The 30-year-old from Troisdorf lost her four-round match at the Prague Open, a clay court competition in the 125K series, against the Briton Francesca Jones after almost two and a half hours 4: 6, 7: 5, 4: 6. In a close match, Lisicki scored seven aces against number 321 in the world rankings, but she also made five double mistakes.

Lisicki had been struggling with glandular fever since July 2019. For the four-time WTA winner, it was "just nice to be back on the court and play a match, especially in the current Corona situation".
