Simona Halep: 2020 only with Darren Cahill
Simona Halep will have only Darren Cahill in her corner next season.

The Wimbledon winner announced on Thursday the separation from her former coach Daniel Dobre.
"Daniel, I want to thank you for everything that you have done for me this year. (Actually, for the many years you have been by my side.) For your hard work, patience and believe in me. We end our collaboration with a Wimbledon trophy and great friendship ... we couldn't ask for more, "Halep worte on Twitter. "I wish you only the best and who knows, the future might hold another chapter for us."
Halep will have Darren Cahill as sole coach next season as it seems. She had already worked with the Australian between 2015 and 2018, despite being temporarily split after Halep didn't fight during a match in Miami in 2017 . The Romanian, however, promised improvement, 2018 was finally the first major title at the French Open as a reward. However, by the end of 2018, both of them announced the breakup because Cahill wanted to spend more time with his family.
There had already been rumors of a resumption at Wimbledon, where Cahill was temporarily at Halep's side at the practice court. Halep confirmed a renewed collaboration during the year. In Shenzhen, Cahill was then again in on-court coaching active.
