Simona Halep tested positive for COVID-19
The tennis world number two Simona Halep has tested positive for the corona virus. The two-time Grand Slam winner from Romania announced this via social networks.

"I am in domestic isolation and am recovering well from my mild symptoms. I feel good ... We will get through this together," wrote Halep (29).
The women's tennis season is almost over due to the corona pandemic. After the cancellation of the Asian tour including the season finale of the best eight players, only the WTA tournament took place in Ostrava in the Czech Republic in October. Another tournament is planned in Linz from November 9th to 15th.
