The lockdown is still in place in Austria; with a few exceptions, indoor sports are not possible. This is unlikely to change in the near future, as Sports Minister Werner Kogler revealed on Monday evening on ServusTV in "Sport and Talk from Hangar 7". If anyone has any hope, it is most likely the tennis players.

"I am convinced that you can make an exception in tennis indoors," explained the Vice Chancellor. “But there won't be many sports. We have a huge volume of air in the tennis halls. It should therefore be possible for two to four people to do sports in these large rooms. A solution is to be sought that makes sense from common sense. "

There are different regulations in Germany: While indoor tennis is strictly forbidden in Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg, for example, hobby tennis players in Hesse, Lower Saxony or Bremen are very much allowed to play indoors.
