The current number 7 in the world, Kiki Bertens, uses the sudden leisure blessing to build some puzzles. At least according to her Instagram post, the Dutch woman should be busy with a gift from her friends for some time now.

Like many Nike athletes, Belinda Bencic published a photo of herself during home training. "Now, more than ever, we are in a team," writes the Swiss. But these days, Bencic does not only have a long home workout, the 23-year-old can also fulfill her artistic streak.

Simona Halep is also forced to be creative these days. In the second place in the world rankings, however, this manifests itself in particularly exotic training methods, such as here with push-ups from the sofa. "Who said that a sofa is only good for sitting on," writes the Romanian.

Other athletes, on the other hand, use their popularity to fight to contain the coronavirus. For example, while Roger Federer donated one million Swiss francs to particularly vulnerable people in Switzerland, Bianca Andreescu released a signed racket to the auction, along with the request: "Please donate if you can !!!"

Madison Keys is particularly sporty. The British has been recording several videos of various homeworkouts in the past few days, which should encourage her fans to use the quarantine for physical exercise. "Take breaks when you need them and have fun," Keys said.

Garbine Muguruza made for a smile, who - mind you - went to a lake to meet her "friends" there. The fact that this refers to the swans in the background is not only in the sense of responsible handling of the situation around COVID-19, it also inspires joy in these difficult days.

As already in a Facebook call (among other things to be seen on Facebook on Tennisnet.com), Angie Kerber is particularly committed to ensuring that people really stay at home. "I hope we get through this time faster than it looks now. A lot of love to all concerned," wrote the German number one on Instagram.

Instagram-Live is currently a popular platform for tennis stars to kill time for themselves and their fans. A similar - but quite different - approach is followed by Caroline Wozniacki, who calls for a live workout. "Because we are all separately - but together - in quarantine, I thought we could reduce some stress by doing a workout together," the Dane started her call.

Elina Svitolina uses her Instagram channel to take part in a challenge. As part of the #VibeChallenge, the Ukrainian uploads a video in which she pursues herself as a dancer. With the ironic remark "Tik-Tok-Level 0.01" the world ranking-5 earned. at least a smiling reaction from Stan Wawrinka.
