Just seven months before the first service at the Bad Homburg Open, ticket sales will begin today (3 December) for the premiere of the WTA grassroots tournament. Tickets for all seven match days of the new WTA event can now be purchased online in cooperation with our partner Reservix.

A special advantage is the Christmas Special: until December 24, 2019 grandstand tickets are available for the Center Court with a 15% discount on the normal price. The prices for day tickets are between 29 Euro and 75 Euro.

On June 21, 2020 (Sunday), the International Series event will begin with the qualification matches and the first matches of the 32-person main draw. The final of the $ 275,000 event will take place on June 27, 2020 (Saturday). The Center Court on the idyllic grounds of the TC Bad Homburg has a capacity of 3,500 spectators.

Kerber full of anticipation

For the participants of the three-time Grand Siam winner Angelique Kerber, the Bad Homburg Open are the ideal dress rehearsal for the Championships on June 29, 2020 in Wimbledon on Church Road. At Kerber (31), who will act as tournament director of the Bad Homburg Open after her sporting career, the anticipation for the newcomer in the WTA calendar 2020 is already clearly felt.

"I hope that many tennis fans come to Bad Homburg to experience the tournament first-hand with its unique Wimbledon flair," said Kerber, emphasizing: "The spa park is the perfect location for a great event in a special ambience."

Even the Lord Mayor of Bad Homburg, Alexander Hetjes (CDU), is looking forward to the WTA event. "We are very proud to be hosting a Wimbledon preparation tournament," said Hetjes.

A high-quality supporting program with motto days (including Family Day, Kids Day) will sweeten the long summer days at historic sites and help make the Bad Homburg Open a social highlight in the Rhine-Main area.
