Third semi-finals entry within the last three years for Daniil Medvedev. The Russian started against Botic van de Zandschulp in a superior manner, allowed himself a little weak phase in the third round, but then struck in a concentrated manner in the fourth set. Medvedev will face either Carlos Alcaraz or Félix Auger-Aliassime in the semifinals. For van de Zandschulp this ended an amazing run that began with participation in the qualification for the last major of the year.
