US Open: David Goffin surprisingly beats Filip Krajinovic, Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina, Corentin Moutet
David Goffin didn’t let Filip Krajinovic stand a chance in the third round of the previous week’s US Open Thiem contenders. Surprisingly, Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina is in the round of the best 16, while Corentin Moutet won his second round duel.

David Goffin got off to a brilliant start in his third round duel with the Serb Filip Krajinovic. The Belgian was particularly strong as a setback, Krajinovic couldn't play a single one of his service games in round one. Only a break by the Serb, who had inflicted a bad defeat on Dominic Thiem in the previous week , prevented the maximum penalty in sentence one.
