Novak Djokovic will do the night session again

For the second time at this year's US Open, Novak Djokovic is allowed to open the night session at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The industry leader was already given this honor on the first day of the tournament, history is now repeating itself against the German Jan-Lennard Struff - from 1:00 a.m. CET the two will face each other, the evening shift on the world's largest tennis court will be decided by Jessica Pegula and Petra Kvitova.

On the day (from 6:00 p.m. CET), Naomi Osaka and Marta Kostyuk face each other on the Center Court, before Denis Shapovalov and Taylor Fritz do the honors before 7:30 p.m. CET.

Kerber, Zverev and Tsitsipas in a row

On the second largest tournament area, the Louis Armstrong Stadium, the game will be opened by Varvara Gracheva and Petra Martic at 17:00 CET. Then the German tennis fans get their money's worth: First, Angelique Kerber meets Ann Li, before Alexander Zverev immediately afterwards gets to do with Adrian Mannarino. After the game of the 23-year-old, the encounters between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Borna Coric or Shelby Rogers and Madison Brengle follow (not before 1:00 a.m. CET).

The remaining seven third-round matches (three women’s, four men’s games) will be played on the remaining seats, and four second-round matches will be postponed due to the rain - including Dan Evans vs. Corentin Moutet just a men's game - brought to an end.
