Philipp Oswald and Robin Haase are in the round of 16 at the US Open 2022

Two Germans, one Austrian and one Dutchman with one German parent: German was the official language on Court 10 in the third match of the day. And in the end, Robin Haase and Philipp Oswald congratulated each other on a 7:6 (4), 6:7 (3) and 6:3 against Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies. Haase and Oswald are already in the round of 16.

There the two will probably meet one of the strongest pairings of recent years: Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic are clear favorites against the American youngsters Godsick/Quinn.

For Kevin Krawietz, the week after the US Open continues with the Davis Cup in Hamburg. There, Krawietz will try with Tim Pütz, the best-ranked German player in the doubles world rankings, to score important points for Germany against France, Belgium and Australia.
