US Open: Waiting for Alexander Zverev and Adrian Mannarino - "Political problems" the reason?
Confusion currently around the upcoming third round duel between Alexander Zverev and Adrian Mannarino . Actually, the two should have started right after Angelique Kerber's success, now Eurosport names 23:00 as the new start date. The reason for this should be "political problems" around the positive COVID test by Benoit Paire and his contacts.

There are confusing pictures that are making the rounds on Twitter this Friday shortly after 9:30 p.m. Central European Time. They show Alexander Zverev on his lounger in Arthur Ashe Stadium, the German seems to be calm - he should actually be playing at the same time in the Louis Armstrong Stadium for a place in the top 16 at the US Open.
Immediately after Angelique Kerber had fixed her place in this, the German number one in the men should have played his third round match at this year's US Open in the second largest stadium in New York City.
