"With the future infrastructure of the Boris Becker Academy, we have the perfect conditions to optimally support our professionals and young talents," said Waske.

The Hessian Tennis Association (HTV), on whose premises in Offenbach the Tennis University founded in 2010 by Waske and his long-time companion Rainer Schüttler was based, has registered its own needs and has not extended the contract of use. The move to Hochheim is now scheduled for April 2023.

Waske and his team find almost perfect conditions there. The two BBTA founders, Khaled Ezzedine and Daniel Köhler, plan to expand the facility to 18 outdoor and 22 indoor courts by mid-2025, as well as to build an international private school with an attached sports boarding school for the predominantly 13 to 18-year-old players.

Daniel Köhler, managing partner of the Boris Becker Tennis Academy, is looking forward to working together. "Alexander Waske and his team of experts have won five Grand Slams in the youth field in recent years," said Köhler: "We look forward to future successes."
