Wimbledon highlights & Kerber as co-commentator - from Monday on Sky

Wimbledon will fall victim to the Corona crisis in 2020, so Sky is betting on two weeks of big matches from previous years. Angelique Kerber will also co-comment on her 2018 Wimbledon final.

From Monday, June 29th to Sunday, July 12th, 2020, the Pay TV broadcaster wants to boast "Wimbledon legends". Historic finals, epic duels and unbelievable events from the past decades should be shown, according to a press release.

Sky shows around 12 hours of top-quality tennis every day on Sky Sport 3 HD, in addition to summaries there are full-length classics, including with Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Björn Borg, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Rafael Nadal, Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf , Pete Sampras. Official films and documentaries are also part of the program.

And a Kerber special: In an interview with Moritz Lang, Angie looks back on her victory in 2018, all seven games to the title are also available in full length. On Saturday, July 11th, the final against Serena Williams - with Kerber as co-moderator. The final from 1985 between Boris Becker and Kevin Curren is also planned for Sunday, July 12, when Becker won his first of three victories on the Holy Lawn at the age of only 17.

Every Monday, the talk format “Kurz Cross - the tennis special” is on the program at 6:30 p.m. on Sky Sport News HD with special programs on Wimbledon.
