Wimbledon: Rafael Nadal flies into the round of 16
The 22-time major winner Rafael Nadal (ATP No. 4) has reached the round of 16 in Wimbledon after an impressive performance.

Nadal won 6-1, 6-2 and 6-4 against 27th-seeded Italian Lorenzo Sonego on Saturday night, showing by far his best performance of the tournament.
The Spaniard managed a break early in all sets, and he didn't have to fend off a single break chance from Sonego until shortly before the end; only when there was a short break at 4: 2 in the third round due to the closing of the roof did Nadal briefly lose his rhythm and gave up his service - in order to create another break in direct return. Then he served safely.
Nadal's performance against Sonego, it is also a sign in the direction of claiming the title at the Wimbledon tournament in 2022. Nadal now meets Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp , who won in four sets against Richard Gasquet in the afternoon.
Nadal has previously won at Wimbledon in 2008 and 2010. In his last appearance in 2019, he lost to Roger Federer in a high-class semi-final.
