Korpatsch prevailed against Danka Kovinic from Montenegro 6:3, 1:6 and 7:5. In the quarterfinals, the German will face either Arantxa Rus from the Netherlands or local hero Natalia Szabanin.
Jule Niemeier, on the other hand, was beaten by Tamara Zidansek 3:6 and 6:7 (11).
