Tamara Korpatsch has had a great week in Budapest

The thing with the live rankings is such a thing, you never know if someone else will get a few points that nobody had on their list. As of now, however, Tamara Korpatsch can look forward to entering the top 100 of the WTA charts for the first time. Exactly at number 100.

And rightly so. Because the German crowned her fantastic week in the Hungarian capital with a 7: 6 (4), 6: 7 (3) and 6: 0 against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova. In the semi-finals, Korpatsch held his own against local hero Anna Bondar in two sets, before that he won against Arantxa Rus and at the start against Lucia Bronzetti. Bondar started the tournament in Budapest as number two, Bronzetti as number four.
