WTA Cluj: Andrea Petkovic stopped by darkness
On the way to the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, tennis player Andrea Petkovic (Darmstadt) was stopped by the onset of darkness.

The quarter-finals of the 33-year-olds against Australian qualifier Seone Mendez were interrupted at 6: 7 (6: 8), 6: 4, 5: 1 and should continue on Saturday.
Petkovic, who is number two, is the last seeded player in the tournament, the opponent in the semifinals would be Aleksandra Krunic from Serbia. Maya Sherif and local hero Mihaela Buzanrescu will contest the second match of the semifinals.
