WTA Dubai: Azarenka soon with the most Masters victories?
Viktoria Azarenka got off to a successful start in Dubai. And thus increased their number of victories at the WTA Masters tournaments.

Viktoria Azarenka is one of the experienced players on the WTA Tour. And with her two Australian Open victories and three other final appearances at the US Open, she is definitely one of the most successful players. The 34-year-old has also collected 21 titles on the WTA Tour and could take over the record for most match wins in the WTA's 1000 events this year.
With her first round win against Arantxa Rus, the Belarusian secured her 265th win at this tournament level, overtaking Caroline Wozniacki, who has 264 wins.
Petra Kvitova has the most wins
Azarenka is currently nine matches behind the leading player, who has 274 wins at the Masters level. The catch: the leader is Petra Kvitova, who is also still active and will most likely increase her own brand even further.
Perhaps even more of an incentive for both players to advance far into their respective fields in the coming tournaments.
