WTA Indian Wells: Krejcikova and Siniakova win next title
Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova won what was ultimately a very exciting doubles final at the WTA Tour 1000 tournament in Indian Wells.

The two Czechs had to play against Laura Siegemund and Beatriz Haddad Maia. After the 6:1 in the first set, it looked like Krejcikova/Siniakova would come through, but the German and her Brazilian partner managed to equalize the set after defending against two match points. Only to end up losing 6-1, 6-7 (3), and 10-7.
Siniakova and Krejcikova have already won the title at the Australian Open this season, as well as in 2022. The two also succeeded at the US Open.
