WTA Linz: Anastasia Potapova wins second career title

The world rankings-44. Anastasia Potapova won her second tournament of her career at the WTA Tour 250 tournament in Linz. The eighth-seeded Russian in Upper Austria prevailed in a rather one-sided final against Croatia's Petra Martic, who was ten places higher, 6:3, 6:1 after just 76 minutes of play.
The 21-year-old from Southeast Russia won the title at the clay court tournament in Istanbul in April last year, where she also defeated her compatriot Veronika Kudermetova 6:3, 6:1 in the final. Potapova had eliminated Jule Niemeier in the round of 16 of the Upper Austrian Ladies and Anna-Lena Friedsam in the quarter-finals.
