WTA Lyon: Julia Grabher fails at the start due to Alycia Parks
Austria's number one Julia Grabher was beaten in three sets by the American Alycia Parks at the WTA Tour 250 event in Lyon.

Not a full sense of achievement for Julia Grabher in Lyon: Austria's best-placed tennis lady had to end the first round of the WTA Tour 250 event in the south-eastern French metropolis of the American Alycia Parks after 2:04 hours of play despite brave resistance 3: 6, 7: 5 and 4: 6 beaten. In the last round was the world number 79. from Atlanta, Georgia, was already ahead 5:2 when the woman from Vorarlberg was able to fight her way back. However, Parks brought through the decisive service game via debut.
The home tournament in Linz is on the program for Grabher next week, where she has a good chance of making it into the main draw with a wild card. After that, the 26-year-old from Dornbirn will try her hand at the qualifiers in Dubai and Doha.
