WTA Miami: Elena Rybakina beats Paula Badosa after saving a match point
Elena Rybakina is in the round of 16 at the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami after a hard fight. The Indian Wells winner fended off a match point against Paula Badosa in the third round.

Elena Rybakina kept the chance of winning the Sunshine Doubles alive: The newly crowned Indian Wells champion narrowly beat Paula Badosa 3:6, 7:5 and 6:3 in the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami . In the second set, the Kasashin even fended off a match point when the score was 4:5.
After her tenth win in a row, Rybakina meets Elise Mertens in the round of 16. The Belgians prevailed against Petra Martic in the last match of the day with 6:4 and 6:3.
Linette beats Azarenka
In the purely American duel between Jessica Pegula and Danielle Collins, the favored Pegula asserted itself 6: 1 and 7: 6 (0). She will face Magda Linette in the round of 16. The Pole defeated Victoria Azarenka 7: 6 (3), 2: 6 and 6: 4.
For youngster Cori Gauff there was already the next disappointment early on Saturday . Her vanquisher, Anastasia Potapova, will go head-to-head with China's Qinwen Zheng in the round of 16.
