WTA Miami: Off the court in a wheelchair – Andreescu is unlucky again
Bianca Andreescu's bad luck continues to stick to her tennis shoes: In her round of 16 match at the WTA Tour 1000 tournament in Miami, the Canadian had to be wheeled off the court after a fall in her wheelchair.

How bad luck can you actually have? Bianca Andreescu is just getting closer to being in top form again, beating Sofia Kenin in Miami after Emma Raducanu and Maria Sakkari - and then the 2019 US Open winner falls so unluckily that she falls off the wheelchair with what appears to be a serious ankle injury Court must be driven. Andreescu without a title since 2019
Bianca Andreescu basically has good memories of Miami: In 2021 she was in the final here. However, she had to give up after a fall against Ashleigh Barty.
But the 22-year-old has been waiting for her next title - it would be her fourth - for a long time: Since the great triumph in Flushing Meadows almost four years ago, Andreescu has not been able to win a tournament, also due to persistent injury problems.
