WTA Ostrava: Swiatek and Kvitova in the semifinals, Bencic fails

The top 4 of the WTA Tour 500 event in Ostrava, Czech Republic, almost reached the semifinals, but in the end Belinda Bencic, who was third in the quarter-finals, clearly failed in two sets of 4: 6 and 3: 6 against Estonian Annett Kontaveit. The Czech Petra Kvitova is also in the round of the last four. The tenth in the world rankings defeated Jill Teichmann from Switzerland twice 6: 4 in her quarter-finals. The local hero, whose birthplace Bilovec is less than 30 kilometers from Ostrava, was able to return the favor for the defeat against Teichmann in Dubai at the beginning of the year.
