First appearance in Stuttgart and immediately a victory: Even if Ashleigh Barty did not go easy in the week of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2021, in the end there was the winner's trophy and an additional 370 points for the WTA world rankings. The lead over Naomi Osaka is almost 2,000 points.

For Barty, however, they are at stake in Roland Garros. The Australian won there in 2019, and due to the special circumstances of the corona pandemic, Barty will carry the points with him until this year's event.

Simona Halep follows in third place, followed by Sofia Kenin and Elina Svitolina, who all served in Stuttgart last week.
The best German is by far Angelique Kerber in 26th place, Barbara Haas, the best Austrian, ranks 156th.

In the annual standings, the Porsche Race to Shenzhen, Barty is now in the lead, albeit just ahead of the Australian Open winner Osaka.
