WTA San Jose: Danielle Collins celebrates second tournament victory in a row
Danielle Collins won the WTA 500 event in San Jose thanks to a final victory over Daria Kasatkina and thus celebrated her second tournament victory en suite.

Danielle Collins won the WTA tournament in San Jose / California. The 27-year-old American prevailed 6: 3, 6: 7 (10) and 6: 1 against Daria Kasatkina from Russia in the event, which was endowed with 565,530 dollars. For Collins it was the second title on the tour after their win in Palermo two weeks ago.
"It was one of my goals to win a tournament this year. And now to win two is just amazing. It's still hard to understand that I've won two in a row," said Collins after the final victory.
At the WTA 125 tournament in Concord, Magdalena Frech was crowned the winner. The Polish beat the Italian Renata Zarazua in the final 6: 3 and 7: 6 (4).
