WTA: Sascha Bajin new coach of Dayana Yastremska

Sascha Bajin, who led Naomi Osaka to two Grand Slam titles, will be in charge of Dayana Yastremska next season. This was announced by the Ukrainian on social media.

Yastremska is considered one of the upcoming stars on the WTA Tour, which saw two new Grand Slam winners this year, including Ashleigh Barty and Bianca Andreescu. The 19-year-old Ukrainian currently ranks 22nd in the world rankings and won the tournaments in Hua Hin and Strasbourg in 2019. And by the way during the season players such as Karolina Pliskova, Aryna Sabalenka or Garbine Muguruza beaten.

"I'm extremely happy and excited about starting our collaboration," Yastremksa writes on Facebook. "I am confident that Sascha can help me reach my goals, very excited about the start of our preparation for the season and confident that everything will work very well."

Bajin, who joined the WTA tour as Hitting Partner of Serena Williams and later on Victoria Azarenka, had been looking after Kristina Mladenovic for a few months after leaving Osaka earlier this year. The collaboration between the Frenchwoman and the Munich came to an end in October.
