The French defeated Ana Bogdan 6-4, 6-1 in the final to win her ninth WTA title, her second of the season. In June she had won in Bad Homburg.

In any case, things have been going great for the 28-year-old in the last few months: in Wimbledon she was in the round of 16, in Lausanne in the semi-finals; in the WTA ranking, it has recently moved back from 79th place to the top 50. Her win in Warsaw put her 32nd in the live ranking.
