So she dared: The two-time Grand Slam winner Simona Halep married her boyfriend Toni Iuruc on Wednesday. The marriage took place in the Romanian port city of Constanta (formerly German: Konstanz) on the Black Sea - incidentally also the birthplace of the former world number one. The lovers, who have been in a relationship for two years, have been engaged since June. On September 27, in less than two weeks, the Romanian will also celebrate her 30th birthday.
Trainer Darren Cahill posted some impressions of the celebration on social media, to which around 300 guests were invited. Husband Iuruc is a North Macedonian born businessman and multi-millionaire. The 42-year-old was married twice to Simona Halep before the wedding.
