Iga Swiatek triumphed in Doha

Iga Swiatek is still the measure of all things in women's tennis. The Pole, who secured the title at the WTA 500 tournament in Doha last week, leads the world rankings by 4,800 points over Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka. New number three is Jessica Pegula, who overtook Ons Jabeur thanks to her final appearance in Doha.

Otherwise there were no changes in the top ten compared to the previous week. Behind Jabeur, Caroline Garcia, Coco Gauff, Maria Sakkari, Daria Kasatkina, Belinda Bencic and Elena Rybakina complete this elite list. There could be major postponements next Monday, as the WTA 1000 tournament in Dubai is on the program this week.

The German number one this week is Jule Niemeier, who remains unchanged in 69th place. Tatjana Maria follows three places behind. The third top 100 player from Germany, Tamara Korpatsch, moved up one position to 82nd place. Austria's best player, Julia Grabher, dropped four places to 94th place in the world rankings.
