I know that I am within striking distance of Ivo, maybe to reach this record. If it stops soon, it will certainly be a milestone that seems achievable (...)", said the American after his First round game.

Isner got the next chance to top up his ace account on Wednesday against Jannik Sinner. However, the 36-year-old does not feel any additional pressure in view of the record hunt: "I would like to hold this record, I will not shy away from it. We will see if I can achieve it."
