What does Herbert Prohaska have to do with Alexander Peya's career? Where can you find the most legendary schnitzel in Austria's capital? And: Which Grand Slam tournament would double ace Peya have liked to win in single? Moderator Fritz Hutter explores all of these questions in issue 18 of the “Grätzlcast” in the Kleine Zeitung.

The right-hander achieved his greatest success in doubles, where he has won 17 major titles so far and reached number 3 in the ATP world rankings. In 2018, he also won the mixed doubles competition at Wimbledon alongside Nicole Melichar from the United States, fulfilling his lifelong dream. But even in the individual, the father of two managed to jump into the top 100 in the world.

In 2018, Peya not only won the titles in Marrakech and the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid alongside Nikola Mektic, but also qualified for the ATP final in London with the Croatian. At that time, however, the 39-year-old already had problems with his elbows.
