Djokovic plans to organize his own tournament series during the break in international professional tennis. The so-called "Adriatic Tour" will take place from June 13th to July 5th in his Serbian homeland as well as in Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia. Other top stars such as world rankings third Dominic Thiem and Grigor Dimitrov had already agreed, now another big name followed the scene in the world rankings seventh Zverev.

The proceeds from the Djokovic tournament will go to various charities. It is not yet clear whether viewers will be admitted. Zverev had already declared at the end of April that he and his professional colleagues are exchanging ideas in a WhatsApp group on how they can help in the corona crisis.

While Djokovic is still in Marbella with his family, Dominic Thiem will start at the Generali Austrian Pro Series this week. However, the first day of the invitation series for Austrian players fell victim to the rain on Monday.
