Anna Kournikova gave birth to her third child on January 30th. The 38-year-old announced via Instagram.
Kournikova is in love with the Spanish cuddly boy Enrique Iglesias, in 2017 the two had already had twins, Lucy and Nicholas.
It has been rumored for a few days that a third child is on the way or already there. The celebrity couple still owed a name to their fans, but according to the pink bow, it seems to have become a girl.
Kournikova and Iglesias met in 2001 while shooting the music video "Escape".
Kournikova: Wimbledon semi-final as the biggest success
At the end of the 1990s, Kournikova stood alongside Martina Hingis and the Williams Sisters for the new generation of tennis stars after Steffi Graf, Monica Seles or Arantxa Sanchez Vicario. For a long time, however, the myth of a bad player stuck to her because she couldn't win a WTA tournament. This reputation followed her after her career, among other things in poker, where the combination ace / king was called "Anna Kournikova" due to her initials AK. According to the motto: "Looks good, but rarely wins."
Kournikova was far from unsuccessful: four times she reached a final, but lost twice against Martina Hingis and once against Venus Williams. Her best world ranking position was 8th in November 2000. In the doubles she even reached 1st. Her greatest successes: a semi-finals in Wimbledon in 1997 with just 16 years and two Grand Slam titles in doubles (Australian Open 1999 and 2002).
However, Kournikova was denied major successes - or even a career like that of Hingis or the Williams Sisters - also because of her early career end at only 21 years due to chronic back pain.
Kournikova, however, brought an enormous influx of fans to tennis. At the beginning of the 2000s, it also benefited from the internet boom. At that time, Kournikova was regularly among the ten most common search queries on Google.
