Ashleigh Barty cancels Dubai injured

The tennis world number one Ashleigh Barty (24) has canceled her participation in the WTA tournament in Dubai next week due to an injury.

"Unfortunately, I withdrew due to an injury to my left leg," said the Australian in a statement published by the WTA.

Barty did not take part in the Qatar Open, but announced her participation in the Miami Open (March 22nd - April 4th): "I'm looking forward to playing in Miami in a few weeks."

Barty had last played in Adelaide and lost to Danielle Collins there at the beginning . She had already canceled the tournament in Doha this week, injured.
