ATP 250 Napoli: Unplayable conditions
The matches of the main draw are to take place in Naples from Monday, October 17th, at a new ATP Tour 250 tournament. But swelling floor coverings and protruding carpet seams pose a problem for the organizers.

On Saturday it was not possible to play on the tennis courts in Naples. Rain caused the courts to swell and parts of the surface came loose. That's why the qualifiers were moved to a club in Pozzuoli about 20 kilometers away. The second round is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the planned facility in Naples. The organization plans that the first round matches can start around Monday afternoon.
Berrettini, Carreno Busta and Bautista Agut at the start
Matteo Berrettini, Pablo Carreno Busto and Roberto Bautista Agut, among others, are scheduled to open in Italy's third largest city from Monday. The Italian cast is also impressive. Depending on the outcome of qualifying, between ten and six players will be at the start. Among them Lorenzo Musetti, Fabio Fognini and Lorenzo Sonego.
Misolic in round two
21-year-old Filip Misolic defeated Italy's Francesco Maestrelli 6-3, 6-4 in the first qualifying round. Tomorrow he will face Francesco Passaro (world number 126). Misolic is currently in 10th place in the Race to Milan (370 world ranking points) and would have to overtake Swiss Dominic Stricker, who currently has 390 ATP ranking points. The NextGen ATP final will take place from June 8th to 12th. November in Milan.
