Dennis Novak exposes his fans to a bath of emotions: In round one of qualifying for the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Antwerp, Austria's number two only played one game against Jozef Kovalik. In the qualifying final against Andreas Seppi it was a lot tighter. Novak needed 2:46 hours to prevail against the experienced South Tyrolean 7: 6 (9), 3: 6 and 7: 6 (6).
In the main draw, Novak could meet Marton Fucsovics, Reilly Opelka, Alex den Minaur or Benoit Paire. The seeding list is headed by Jannik Sinner in front of Diego Schwartzman.
