Marach / Oswald had already played against Israeli Erlich at the US Open - and lost in round one. Probably also because the steadily growing Lloyd Harris gave Erlich's playmates. The most recent shared memories for the Austrian couple are mostly positive: In Sofia, Marach and Oswald were in the final, but Jonny O'Mara and Ken Skupski had to admit defeat there.
