ATP Astana: Nervous Tsitsipas moves into the quarterfinals
Stefanos Tsitsipas reached the quarterfinals of the ATP Tour 500 tournament in Astana with a 7: 6 (2) and 7: 6 (3) against Luca Nardi.

Tsitsipas, seeded third in Astana, struggled with the Italian qualifier throughout the season. In the two tie-breaks, however, the Greek showed his class, winning 7: 6 (2) and 7: 6 (3). In the quarterfinals, Tsitsipas, who had won against local hero Mikhail Kukushkin at the start, meets either Hubert Hurkacz or Alexandr Bublik.
Andrey Rublev is also in the last eight after an unchallenged win against Zhizhen Zhang from China. Novak Djokovic had no problems in his opening game, beating Cristian Garin 6-1 and 6-1. Djokovic will play against Botic van de Zandschulp tomorrow Thursday for a place in the quarterfinals.
Tournament favorite Carlos Alcaraz was eliminated in round one by David Goffin. The Belgian, on the other hand, was defeated in his next appearance by Adrian Mannarino from France, who is now the quarter-final opponent for Andrey Rublev.
