The ATP will also be awarding awards in five categories this year - in four of them (comeback player, most improved player, newcomer and fairest player) the professionals decide, in the fifth (coach of the year) the trainers themselves.
Carlos Alcaraz has two chances: Firstly, among those ATP stars who made the most progress in tennis in 2022. And in the category named after Stefan Edberg, which honors the fairest players. And of course, without the work of Carlos Alcaraz, Juan Carlos Ferrero would not have been nominated in the coaching category.
Dominic Thiem is also listed among the players with the most notable comebacks. We reported about it.
