ATP Bastad: Francisco Cerundolo wins first ATP Tour title against Sebastian Baez

The "Argentinian championships" in Sweden have been beaten and the winner in the duel was Francisco Cerundolo, who was five places lower in the world rankings: The 23-year-old, who is currently 39th in the ATP ranking, sat down in the final of the ATP clay court tournament von Bastad after 1:49 hours against compatriot Sebastian Baez with 7: 6 (4) and 6: 2.
Cerundolo has only been in a final on the ATP tour once before, but was clearly beaten 6-1, 6-2 in his native city of Buenos Aires by Diego Schwartzman, who was also from Argentina. After this year's triumph at the ATP World Tour 250 event in Santiago de Chile, Baez will have to wait for his second tournament victory on the big men's tour.
