ATP Bastad: surprise semi-finalists and Casper Ruud without a fight
The semi-final pairings at the Bastad ATP 250 event are in place. While Casper Ruud did not have to step on the court, Federico Coria caused a surprise.

At lunchtime, a few hours before Casper Ruud was supposed to fight for a place in the semifinals against Henri Laasksonen, the tournament favorite was certain to make it into the semifinals of the ATP 250 event. His Swiss opponent could not play the quarter-finals due to injury. In the semifinals, the clay court specialist will now face Roberto Carballes Baena, who defeated Norbert Gombos in two clear sets.
In the second semifinals, the German Yannick Hanfmann is on the one hand, who is again in top form on sand in the summer. Hanfmann defeated the French Arthur Rinderknech in the early afternoon 6: 4 and 6: 3. Surprisingly, there is now a duel with Federico Coria in the semifinals, who surprisingly knocked down the second great clay court magician in the field, Cristian Garin, in three sets.
