ATP Beijing: Alexander Zverev with gala in the quarterfinals
Alexander Zverev, who is in second place, has confidently entered the quarter-finals of the ATP Tour 500 tournament in Beijing. Zverev defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime in two sets.

Impressive performance by Alexander Zverev at the ATP Tour 500 tournament in Beijing. The German placed second dominated Félix Auger-Aliassime from the start and after 6: 3 and 6: 1 moved into the quarter-finals as the last player. There Sam Querrey is waiting for the German number one.
Zverev proved to be inviolable as a server and seemed to have returned to the level he had offered when he was successful at the ATP Finals 2018. No comparison to the performances last summer, which were characterized by double fault orgies Zverevs.
Auger-Aliassime had to struggle enormously with their own service, in the first round gave up their serve for 3: 4 and 3: 6. In the second act for 1: 3 and 1: 5. A comeback was long out of the question. After only 62 minutes of play, Zverev scored his first match ball.
