Novak Djokovic didn't give Miomir Kecmanovic a chance

Novak Djokovic is still on the best way towards a home win. The 18-time Grand Slam winner gave his 21-year-old compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic no chance at all in the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Belgrade with a 6: 1 and 6: 3 success and made a highly deserved entry into the semifinals of the clay court event.

As has so often happened in the recent past, Djokovic repeatedly lured his counterpart to the net with numerous stop balls, and the 33-year-old was highly concentrated, especially in tight game situations: Kecmanovic was only able to convert one of his five breakballs. In the semifinals, Djokovic meets Aslan Karatsev or Gianluca Mager.

Even before Djokovic, Matteo Berrettini, who was seeded in second position, qualified for the semifinals. The Italian defeated Filip Krajinovic 6: 4 and 6: 4. He is now dealing with Taro Daniel or Federico Delbonis.
