ATP Challenger Alicante: Oscar Otte eliminated in the semifinals
Oscar Otte failed in the semifinals of the ATP Challenger tournament in Alicante. The German lost to Hugo Grenier in three sets.

The scheduled final of the ATP Challenger tournament in Alicante could have been a real classic: Feliciano Lopez started the event in first place. Fernando Verdasco had said hello from below in the tableau. In fact, the final on Sunday will be contested by two French players: Hugo Grenier and Constant Lestienne. Grenier defeated Lopez in round two - and was also harmless in the semifinals against US Open round of 16 Oscar Otte. Grenier won 6: 3, 6: 7 (3) and 6: 4.
The German fought for two hours and seemed to have the momentum on his side after winning the second set. Grenier managed an early break in the decision and brought it to the finish.
