ATP Challenger Ismaning: Top favorite Halys stops local hero Rehberg in the final
Quentin Halys won the ATP Challenger tournament in Ismaning. The French defeated local hero Max Hans Rehberg in the final 7:6 (6) and 6.3.

The number two in Ismaning, Thomas Machac, had defeated Max Hans Rehberg at the ATP Challenger in Ismaning right at the start. Then also Robin Haase, Elmar Ejupovic and in the semifinals with Vasel Pospisil also the number three. But the 19-year-old German found his master in tournament favorite Quentin Halys. Halys beat Rehberg 7: 6 (6) and 6: 3, taking 80 points for the ATP world rankings.
With his strong performances in Ismaning, Rehberg improved by 160 places. As number 436 in the ATP world rankings, he still has a lot of work to do.
