ATP Challenger: Koepfer in Calgary in the final, Altmaier loses marathon
Dominik Koepfer reached the final of the ATP Challenger Tour tournament in Calgary. Daniel Altmaier, on the other hand, failed very delicately in Montevideo.

Koepfer prevailed in the 1988 Olympic city in the semifinals against local hero Gabriel Diallo 7:6 (2) and 6:2. In the final, the German left-hander is up against Aleksandar Vukic, who is starting for Australia. Koepfer is seeded fifth in Calgary, with Vukic one place ahead.
For Daniel Altmaier, however, the Challenger in Montevideo ended in the semi-finals. Altmaier put up a big fight with Tomas Martin Etcheverry, but lost 7:6 (5), 3:6 and 6:7 (6) after a playing time of 3:25 hours.
