ATP Challenger: Lenz benefits from Bachinger's task

At the ATP Challenger 90 tournament in Ismaning, four German players and one Swiss player reached the round of 16. With Luas Miedler, however, the last Austrian from the tournament in the Munich area is eliminated.

From the German point of view, Johannes Härteis (ATP 372) and Yannick Hanfmann (ATP 192) had made the beginning of the 69,280 Euro indoor tournament on the carpet. While Hartzis defeated number two seed Robin Haase 6: 6, 6: 7 (6), 7: 6 (2), Hanfmann defeated British James Ward (ATP 291) 7: 6 (2), 6 : 3 through. Also Julian Lenz (ATP 259) is in Ismaning in the second round. The 26-year-old Hesse defeated the Munich local hero Matthias Bachinger (ATP 181). Lenz benefited from an injury-related task Bachinger in the first set at the score of 5: 3. The 32-year-old from Munich had given up because of a strain in the right calf. The trio Hanfmann, Lenz and Härteis are following Daniel Masur (ATP 235), who reached the round of the last 16 the day before with a 5: 7, 6: 4, 6: 4 against the Dutchman Jelle Sels (ATP 374) , /

Daniel Altmaier (ATP 410), however, retired after a 3: 6, 5: 7 against the Frenchman Constant Lestienn (ATP 215). After Maximilian Neuchrist (ATP 703) lost in Ismaning against Härteis the day before, compatriot Lucas Miedler (ATP 280) joined in the second round. Miedler lost against number one placed Czech veteran Jiri Vesely (ATP 120) with 4: 6, 7: 6 (2), 3: 6.

Out of Shcweizer After the first round of Sandro Ehrat (ATP 342) against Teymuraz Gabashvili (ATP 305), only Marc-Andrea Hüsler (ATP 293) is in the race in Ismaning. The 23-year-old won his second-round match against Kazakh Aleksandr Nedovyesov (ATP 218) 6: 4, 6: 4.
